DESCRIPTION:The 17th Living Lakes Conference will be held in Kolkata and in the Sundarbans\, India\, from 1 to 4 December 2026 under the theme of “Resilient Lake and Wetland Landscapes: Scaling up locally driven innovation for biodiversity\, climate mitigation and adaptation”. \nHosted by the Nature Environment & Wildlife Society and the Global Nature Fund\, the conference brings together international NGO representatives working on wetland protection\, as well as policymakers and corporates. This year\, it has a special focus on youth engagement. \nThe conference is the flagship event of the Living Lakes Network. The Living Lakes Network is an international partnership of more than 130 members working in more than 60 countries to protect and restore lakes and wetlands around the world. \nLearn more
